What is penalty claim?

Penalty claim

Penalty claim is issued to drivers for lack of compliance with the parking rules and conditions. The penalty claim is meant to motivate clients to use the parking places and territories according to the terms of use.

Penalty claim levels and payment regulations

In case parking terms have been violated by the driver in any way, a penalty claim of 50, 80, 95 PLN (dependent on location) is issued and placed on the car's windshield (attached to the wiper). The parking attendant secures evidence of the penalty claim by writing a report and taking pictures of the vehicle - these measures prove that violation of the general terms have occurred. (NOTE: car user, who received penalty claim, can view penalty's information and photographic documentation through our website).

Penalty claim has to be paid within 14 days from the date of issue. Payment must be submitted by bank draft to EuroPark's account:

In case the penalty claim is not paid within 2 weeks from the issue date, EuroPark will launch legal debt execution procedure and charge additionally for handling costs: sourcing car owner's information from CEPIK database, at the cost set by Polish law (§ 7 rozporządzenia Ministra Spraw Wewnętrznych i Administracji z dnia 18.06.2014 r. w sprawie centralnej ewidencji pojazdów (Dz. U. z 2014 r. poz. 816)), as well as costs of court proceedings and debt collection according to law in force.
